3 homemade recipes to make your hair grow faster

Growing hair takes time. Sometimes a little too much for the most impatient among us. How about speeding things up with 3 homemade recipes to reproduce at home?

1/ Onion juice to make your hair grow faster

Yes, you read that right, onion! As unpleasant as it may smell, this sulfur-rich bulb promotes the production of collagenous tissue, which is necessary for hair growth.
How to make it? Using a food processor, blend and then squeeze half an onion with a chinois (or even a pantyhose) to extract the juice. Once reduced to a liquid state, apply it directly to the roots and massage the scalp well. Leave on overnight and rinse with water and a mild shampoo.

2/ An egg mask

A source of iron, zinc and protein, egg yolk boosts cellular metabolism, hydrates hair follicles (small cavities where the hair bulb is reborn) and thus stimulates hair growth.
How to make it ? In a bowl, mix an egg yolk with two tablespoons of castor oil (ideal for strengthening hair) and a tablespoon of honey. As soon as the mixture is ready, coat your scalp with it and leave it on for a good 30 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm or cold water and clean the rest with shampoo.

3/ A mustard bath to make your hair grow faster

Instead of looking in your beauty kit, open your cupboards. In addition to being a condiment for meals, mustard also activates the circulation of the scalp, which allows a better blood flow and therefore hair that grows faster. On the other hand, if you have a very sensitive skin of the head, pass your way not to irritate it more.
How to make it? In a bowl, mix two teaspoons of sweet mustard or mustard oil (available at Aroma Zone) with 3 tablespoons of water. Then add 3 tablespoons of olive oil and an egg yolk. Apply it to the roots and wrap your hair in a towel. Leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and shampoo. To be done at most once a week.
